Private One to One in Body-mind Centering®

Somatics Movement Guidance Lessons
With Rosalyn Maynard BMCA
BY REMOTE VIDEO CALL: Zoom

The focus of these one to one sessions is exploring how we can deepen our inner sensory awareness and recover greater ease and presence in the experiencing moment.

They are based on the somatics practices of Elsa Gindler’s Human Work and Body-Mind Centering®.

We will take time to be quiet and comfortable through guided movement activities at a slow and gentle pace in lying, sitting, standing, walking, breathing or sounding as well as exploring gentle guided hands-on-touch on ourselves.

Each session open’s with a brief check in & discussion followed by the gentle guided movement activities and closes with time for transition, rest and a brief reflection at the end.

Throughout the session, Rosalyn will accompany you through each activity embodying and practicing alongside your own explorations. You are your own authority in this approach and your inner felt sense of ease will guide the session.

This somatics approach has been described as meditation for the western mind; as a ‘radically’ simple way of working with experience. In brief, we might describe this approach as learning or recovering simply how to pay attention to how we go with greater ease: how we sit with greater ease, hold a cup, breathe, stand, lie down, how we truly rest with greater ease...

There are no prerequisites for this work, just patience and a love of exploring.
